Visibility
GEOflux Free is a free AI rank tracker that shows how ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity mention your brand. It tracks 15 prompts, refreshed every 3 days, against 3 competitors, with no credit card and no time limit.
No card, ever
Free is a plan, not a countdown with billing at the end of it.
No time limit
It stays free for as long as you keep using it.
Nothing is deleted
Go quiet for long enough and we pause the tracking, never your data.
Unlimited seats
Bring the whole team. We do not charge per person on any plan.
The same brand visibility dashboard paying customers use
Free is a smaller prompt set on a slower cadence. It is not a stripped-down viewer, and it is not a PDF.
Visibility over time
Share of AI answers that mention each brand (average).

Most free AI rank trackers are one of three things
Worth knowing what you are comparing, because the word free is doing a lot of different jobs on this search results page.
A one-shot checker
Type a domain, get a snapshot, and that is the whole product. No history, so you can never tell whether last month's work moved anything.
A trial with a countdown
Seven or fourteen days of the paid product, then a card or nothing. Genuinely useful, but it is a trial wearing a free-plan label.
A very small free tier
A handful of prompts, often checked no more than monthly. Enough to confirm the tool runs, not enough to track a brand with.
What Free is here
GEOflux Free gives you fifteen prompts on three engines, re-asked every three days, with the full answer history kept and exportable. It does not expire and it does not run out.
What is free, and what you pay for
The exact numbers, so there is nothing to discover after you sign up.
| Feature | Free | Starter and Growth |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $0, forever | $99 or $199 a month |
| Prompt credits | 15 | 50 on Starter, 150 on Growth |
| AI engines | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity |
| How often prompts are re-asked | Every 3 days | Daily |
| Competitors tracked | 3 | 4 on Starter, 9 on Growth |
| Overview, Answers, Sources, Brands, Topics | Included | Included |
| CSV export and email digests | Included | Included |
| Shareable client reports | 3 | 10 on Starter, 50 on Growth |
| Personas | Not included | 1 on Starter, 3 on Growth |
| AI Readiness crawler audit | Not included | Included |
| Team members and client access | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Support | Self-serve (docs) | Email on Starter, priority on Growth |
One credit tracks one prompt. Fifteen credits is fifteen questions, each re-asked on all three engines every three days, with every answer kept.

What this AI rank tracker covers today, and what is coming
GEOflux is an answer-engine tracker. Here is exactly where that line sits, so you know what you are signing up for.
Tracked today, on every plan including Free
- Whether your brand is mentioned at all, per prompt and per engine
- Share of voice against the competitors you name
- Which pages and domains the engine cited to build its answer
- Sentiment on the answers that mention you, scored 0 to 10
- Which topics you win, and which ones a competitor owns
- The full answer text, kept so you can read what was actually said
Coming soon (no date yet)
- Google AI Overviews: whether your brand appears in the AI Overview on a search results page, and which sources it cites.
- Google AI Mode: the same, for Google's conversational AI Mode answers.
- Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Grok.
We do not have a date yet, and we will not guess one. Leave your email and we will tell you the day it ships.
Tell me when new AI engines launch
One email, on the day each one ships. Nothing else.
Prefer not to leave an email? Keep a free account open and the new engines appear in your dashboard when they land.
Not tracked, and not planned
- Classic Google keyword positions. This is not a blue-link rank tracker.
- Paid ads, shopping results and social mentions.
How the AI rank tracking actually runs
No scraping of your analytics and no guessing. We ask the engines the same questions your buyers ask, and read what comes back.
You add your brand and your prompts
Write the questions your buyers actually type, in their words. Fifteen of them on Free. Name up to three competitors and we measure them alongside you.
We ask the engines, for real
Every three days each prompt is run against ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity in a real browser session, and the whole answer is captured as it was shown.
We read every answer
A parser pulls out each brand mentioned, the sentiment of the mention, the topic it belongs to, and every source URL the engine cited.
You get the history, not a snapshot
Every run is a data point. Visibility, share of voice, sentiment and citations build into a trend, so you can tell whether what you changed last month worked.
Free forever and the 14-day trial are different things
Plenty of tools call a countdown a free plan. Here they are two separate doors, and you pick one at signup.
Free account
Free forever- $0, no card, no expiry date
- 15 prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity
- Every prompt re-asked every 3 days
- 3 competitors to compare against
- Upgrade whenever you want, or never
14-day trial
Full product- Everything a paid plan includes, for 14 days
- Still no card up front
- Daily refresh, Personas and AI Readiness
- Stops after 14 days unless you subscribe
- Start here if you want to see the whole thing
One thing worth knowing before you choose: a free account cannot be switched to a trial later. If you want the full product for two weeks, start on Starter or Growth instead.
Free AI rank tracking: questions, answered
GEOflux Free is a free plan. There is no card, no expiry date and no invoice waiting at the end. The 14-day trial is a separate thing you can choose instead at signup, and it gives you the full paid product for two weeks.
No. Not for the free account, and not for the 14-day trial either. You only enter card details if you decide to subscribe to a paid plan.
Signup offers you the waitlist instead, and we invite people from it as slots open up. A slot frees up when an account upgrades to a paid plan or gets paused for inactivity, so the list keeps moving.
Not yet. It is coming soon, and we do not have a date to share. Today GEOflux tracks answer engines: ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Gemini is Google's assistant, which is a different surface from an AI Overview on a search results page or an answer in AI Mode. AI Overviews and AI Mode tracking are both in development, together with Claude, Copilot and Grok. Leave your email on this page and we will tell you when they ship. If your free account is open, you will not need to sign up again.
Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Grok are all planned. We do not publish dates until something is ready, so the most reliable way to know is to leave your email or keep a free account open.
Not in the classic sense. GEOflux does not report your position for a keyword in Google's blue links. It is an AI visibility tracker: it reports whether AI engines mention you when someone asks about your category, how you compare with competitors, and which sources they cite.
GEOflux does not delete it. We email you at day 60, 75 and 85, and if nobody has opened the account by day 90 we pause new prompt runs. Your brand, prompts, competitors, saved answers and charts all stay, and one click on Reactivate starts the tracking again.
No, and this is the one thing to decide up front. A free account upgrades straight to a paid plan with no trial in between. If you want to see Personas, AI Readiness and daily refresh before paying, start on the trial rather than on Free.
You get about a third of the data points, so trends take longer to become obvious and a one-day spike can pass unnoticed. For deciding whether AI engines know you exist and who they recommend instead, every three days is plenty. For watching a launch day by day, you want the daily cadence on a paid plan.
Yes. Seats are unlimited on every plan, including Free. Colleagues can join as Editor or Admin, and clients can be given read-only access, with no per-seat fee.
Five things: more prompts, daily instead of three-day refresh, Personas, the AI Readiness crawler audit, and support. Free accounts are self-serve, with the documentation to work from. Everything else you see in the product, including the dashboard, the answer archive, CSV export, email digests and shareable reports, is on the free plan too.
We pause the tracking. We never delete your data.
Running prompts costs us real money, so an account nobody opens eventually stops running them. Here is exactly when, and what survives.
- Day 1 to 59
Nothing changes
Your prompts run every three days, the way they always have.
- Day 60
We email you
Prompts keep running. Two more reminders follow, on day 75 and day 85.
- Day 90
The account pauses
New prompt runs stop. Nothing else about the account changes.
- Whenever you return
One click to restart
Hit Reactivate and tracking resumes from the next scheduled run.
- What stays
- Your brand, prompts, competitors, saved answers and every chart you have built. The dashboard stays open and readable.
- What stops
- New measurement, and only that. No prompt runs, no new data points.
- What resets the clock
- Opening the app on that project. The count is days since anyone last did, so using the tool keeps it at zero.
The quiet stretch stays a gap. We do not backfill the days nobody was watching, because inventing measurements we never took would be worse than a hole in the chart.
