Google AI Mode Tracker
See how Google's conversational AI Mode answers your buyers' questions, which brands it recommends, and which pages it links to.

"Where should we stay in Lisbon for a week with two kids, under €200 a night?"

Google AI Mode is an add-on. Switch it on for any project on Starter or Growth, or during the 14-day trial, and it uses 1 credit per prompt. It is not part of the Free plan.
See pricingAI Mode is Google's answer engine. Here is how to measure it
Google AI Mode is a full conversational answer inside Google Search. People ask longer, more specific questions, follow up, and get a written answer with links to supporting sites instead of ten blue links. Google says AI Mode may run several related searches behind one question, so the pages it cites can come from searches you never targeted.
It is not the same as an AI Overview. An AI Overview is a short summary on top of a normal results page; AI Mode is a separate, chat-style answer. The two often name different brands and cite different pages for the same question, which is why GEOflux tracks them as two engines. Like AI Overviews, AI Mode traffic is counted inside Search Console's Web totals, with no separate view.
An AI Mode tracker runs your prompts in AI Mode on a schedule and records which brands the answer names, how it describes them and which pages it links to. GEOflux tracks AI Mode as an add-on, next to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.

Each prompt is asked in Google AI Mode for your project's country. We capture the full answer the way a person sees it, with the sites it links to.
Mentions and sources
We read every answer for brand mentions, competitor mentions, sentiment and the pages it links to, and tie each source to the sentence it backs.
Trends and alerts
Results roll up into Share of Voice, visibility % and sentiment trends, next to your other engines. Alerts email you when your visibility, Share of Voice or sentiment crosses a line you set.

How to improve your visibility in AI Mode
AI Mode answers from Google's index, so the basics of SEO still apply. These are the levers that matter most.
Cover the follow-up questions
AI Mode may split one question into several related searches. A page that also answers the obvious follow-ups (price, alternatives, who it is for) gives it more to cite.
Keep pages indexable
AI Mode draws on Google's index. Pages that are blocked, noindexed or limited by nosnippet cannot be shown as supporting links.
Track the same prompts in AI Mode and AI Overviews
The two surfaces often disagree. Comparing them on identical prompts shows whether a gap is about your content or about the format.
Earn mentions on the sites AI Mode links
Your citation data shows which review sites, publications and forums AI Mode relies on in your category. Those are your outreach list.
Write for the specific question
Long, specific questions reward pages that answer specific situations: a use case, a budget, a team size. Generic category pages are harder to cite for them.

Frequently asked questions about AI Mode tracking
Add your prompts to a GEOflux project and switch on the Google AI Mode add-on. Each prompt is asked in AI Mode for your project's country, and GEOflux records which brands the answer names, how it describes them and which pages it links to. Share of Voice, visibility and sentiment trends build from there.
AI Mode is not on GEOflux's Free plan. It is an add-on on Starter and Growth, and it is included in the 14-day trial, so you can test it on your own prompts before you pay. The Free plan covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
An AI Overview is a short AI summary at the top of a normal Google results page, shown only for some searches. AI Mode is a separate, conversational answer that people open on purpose and can follow up on. They often name different brands and cite different pages, so GEOflux tracks them as two add-ons.
Yes. Each client is a project with its own brand, competitors and prompts, and every engine you switch on reports into it. Shareable reports let clients see their numbers without a login.
Google counts clicks and impressions from AI Mode inside Search Console's Web search type, without a separate filter. Search Console cannot show which brands the answer named or whether it linked to you. That is what GEOflux tracks.
Yes. You choose the prompts, so a project can focus on one industry, such as law firms or HR software, and one country. To cover several markets, create a project for each.
One credit per prompt, on top of the three your base engines use. It is an add-on on Starter and Growth and during the 14-day trial, switched on per project. It is not part of the Free plan.
Every plan, including Free, tracks ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. On Starter and Growth, and during the 14-day trial, you can also switch on Claude, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews for any project. These add-ons are paid in credits: 3 per prompt for Claude, Grok and Copilot, 1 for Google AI Mode and AI Overviews. All engines report into the same dashboard, so you can compare how each one answers the same prompt.
