GEOflux update – 7 Oct 2026

1. Brand Perception. See how AI describes your brand, not just whether it mentions you. GEOflux now reads the answers that mention you and groups what they say into attributes, so you can see which qualities AI associates with your brand and open the answers behind each one. You’ll find it in Overview > Sentiment, and it’s included in shared reports.

2. Buyer Journey. Every prompt can now be assigned a buyer journey step: Discover (learning about a problem), Evaluate (comparing options) or Buy (ready to act). Filter your dashboard by step to see where in the journey AI recommends you, and where you drop out.

3. Branded vs. Non-branded prompts. Prompts are now labelled Branded (the question names your brand or a competitor) or Non-branded (a generic question with no brand in it). Filter by Non-branded to see your unprompted visibility: how often AI brings you up when nobody asked about you.

4. New metrics.

  • Prompt coverage (Overview > Visibility): the share of your prompts where your brand was named at least once. Visibility counts answers; prompt coverage counts questions.
  • Sources per mention (Overview > Sources): how many sources AI attaches to a brand each time it names it, for you and your competitors.
  • Citation rate (Overview > Sources): “Your content cited” now also shows the share of all answers that cite your own site, so you can read it side by side with Visibility.

5. Project health notices. GEOflux now tells you when your setup is holding back your data. A health button in the header lists what’s open for your project, each with a link to the page where you fix it:

  • Not tracking enough prompts: under half of your plan’s credits are in use. Too few prompts means too few answers a day to read a trend from, so the notice (also shown on the Overview and Prompts pages) stays until you reach the target.
  • No competitors tracked: without competitors, share of voice reads 100% and we can’t tell whether your prompts get answers about your market.
  • Prompts whose answers never mention you or a competitor: over the last 7 days, no AI answer to these prompts named your brand or any competitor you track, so they use credits without telling you anything about your market. Either the question is off-topic for what you sell, or AI is naming competitors you aren’t tracking yet.
  • Prompts whose answers name no brand at all: visibility, share of voice and sentiment are all measured from brand mentions, so these prompts have nothing to report. Rewrite them as recommendation or comparison questions (“best…”, “top alternatives to…”).
  • Suggested competitors waiting for review: we found them when your project was set up, but nothing is tracked until you accept it.
  • Brand profile has no description: your prompt and competitor suggestions are written from it, so add one to get better suggestions.

6. Search everything. The search bar at the top now searches across your whole project: AI answers, prompts, alerts, tags and more. Type a few words and jump straight to the result.

7. Refer GEOflux, earn 35%. Our referral program is live. Share your link from the gift box icon on the top right: anyone who signs up through it gets 50% off their first three months, and you earn 35% of what GEOflux makes from every referred account that pays, with a cap of $700.
